A yard at one of the sales had some beautiful salvia in full bloom which was attracting many bees. A bumblebee was among them, stuffing her leg sacks full of pollen. Really wanted to get a good picture of her, but she wouldn't cooperate...then I tried my luck with a couple of honeybees, but I had some trouble getting the camera to focus on the buzzing insects...

The Presbyterian church on 4th St:

We stopped at the church thinking their rummage sale was today; turns out it is tomorrow. We ran into a friend of Mick's who is head of building maintenance or some such at the church, and he gave us a wonderful tour of the inside of the bldg. Built in 1904 and on the register of historic places, it is quite nice inside, the first time any of us had seen the interior.
